She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson Coleman Newsome and Martha Mountcastle Newsome; and her husband Raymond Cyril Otwell, Jr. of Bremen. She is survived by: her children, Raymond Otwell, III, Jefferson Otwell and Elizabeth Otwell Holland; her son-in-law Geoffrey Holland; and her sibling's children, Amy and Andrew. She is also survived by cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church (1722 Oak Grove Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A burial was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens (3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Library, in honor of Anne's lifelong love of reading and learning.
