He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Brown and Lula Brown. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Evans Brown; his children, Patti Purcell (Don) of Smyrna and Rodney Brown (Erin) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Emily Everett (Billy), Will Purcell (Georgie), Alexandra Brown and Allison Brown; and his sister Estelle Henson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Smyrna (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080).
