She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Robert Sidney Bower, Sr. and Marcia Mae Converse Bower; husband: Virgil Eugene Byerly; brother: Robert Sidney Bower, Jr.; daughter: Pamela Bower Byerly Watkins (Thomas Scott Watkins, Sr.); son: Virgil Robert Byerly (Sara Angelini); grandchildren: Elizabeth Converse Watkins Moulton (Michael Brian Moulton), Thomas Scott Watkins, Jr. (Mary Grace Pattillo), John Nelson Watkins (Eleanor Ruth Hopkins), Miss Emma Byerly, and Master Jake Buckland Byerly; ancestors: Deacon Edward Converse and Buckland Palmer Bower; and many friends, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church (3003 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327). She attended both, of her grandson's Georgia Tech graduations, one outside at Bobby Dodd Stadium in a freezing December rainstorm and one in a packed McCamish Pavilion during a COVID outbreak.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church.
