She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cleave Mathis and Essie Mathis; her son Larry; her husband Harry Johnson; and her grandchild Keeyanna Haygood.
She is survived by: her nephew Reverend Charles Morgan; her children, Robert B. Haygood (Sharrell) and Vanessa Gayle Haygood-Greeley (Allen); her stepdaughter Tawana "Sweetie" Collins (Anthony); her sisters-in-law, Hattie Mathis, Evon Bryant and Sandra Hayes; her grandchildren, Larry D. Haygood, Jr., Tremaine Tuck, Jermaine Tuck, Keehlan Haygood, Allen Greeley, II and Alex Greeley (Markayla); and her great grandchildren, Larry D. Haygood, III, Lauryn D. Haygood and Akinji Cerulean Greeley. She is also survived by Friends, Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gregory B Levett & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory (4347 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur, GA 30034). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church (1879 Glenwood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lincoln Cemetery (2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30314).
