She is survived by : her children, Paul William Black, II (Kerrin), Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) and Black (Charles Hornyak); her granddaughters, Regan Leigh Black Barron (Davis) and Kiera Shane Black; her sister-in-law Diane Harris; and her nephew Paul Sumrell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She embodied charity and fought valiantly for people injured on the job and short-shifted their due.
