We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Bette Strasburger in Atlanta, Georgia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearle and Mose (Feinman); and her sister Audri Schiller. She is survived by: her husband Charles Strasburger; her children, Chuck Strasburger, Tom Strasburger (Nonda), Terri Rittenberg (Scott), Lani Ashner (Nick) and Marc Chernau; her grandchildren, Charles Strasburger (Margeaux), Emily Strasburger, Alexa Rittenberg (Alyson Yawitz), Meagan Ashner (Connor Hyman), Andrew Rittenberg (Victoria), Dylan Strasburger, Nathan Ashner, Joel Rittenberg (Olivia Leon), Madelyn Chernau (Noah Medwed), Collin Strasburger, Evan Strasburger, Grant Chernau and Mason Chernau; her great grandchildren, Hannah Strasburger, Foster Strasburger and Nola Strasburger; her nieces, Anne O'Beirne (Gerry) and Amy Nicol (Jim); her aunt Suzi; Bette and Lewis Schiller.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (829 Columbus St, Montgomery, AL 36104). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
