She was predeceased by: her parents, George Black and Maude Adams (Elmo Hester, Jr.). She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Johnson (Mark), Donna Powell and Linda Browne (Dale); and her grandchildren, Joanna Johnson, Bryan Powell, Virginia Browne and Meredith Browne Perez. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
