We bid farewell to Caroline Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2026 at the age of 97. Caroline touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Wilson; her parents, Iverson H. Lord and Willie Lord; her siblings, Iverson H. Lord, Jr. and Betty Lord Bonsal; and her grandson Hollis Hudetz.
She is survived by: her brother William Lord (Bill); her nieces, Caroline Metzel and Elizabeth Hudetz; her nephew James Eugene Wilson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Christie Rodgers, Maggie Lipman, Previn Hudetz and Aria Hudetz; her great grandchildren, Curtiss Cavitt, Jacob Rodgers, Sarah Rodgers, Brandon Rodgers, Lauren Lipman, Eleanor Lipman, Ananda Hudetz, Cyrus Hudetz and Asher Hudetz; and her great great grandchildren, Finley Cavitt and Rowan Cavitt.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a contribution to a charity that helps children, in memory of Caroline's life's work in teaching. Two charities that she supported were: St. Jude Children's Hospital and Samaritan's Purse (which provides Christmas shoeboxes of gifts to impoverished children worldwide.)
