He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Moran, Sr. and Rachel Moore. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Stephenson Moran; his son Sean Moran; his grandsons, Aden Moran and Collin Moran; his stepdaughter Angie Messner; his granddaughters, Savanna Messner and Avery Grace Messner; and his sisters, Rachel Williams (Toni) of Dacula, GA and Mollie Carow of Athens, GA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local youth sports organization in his honor.
