She was predeceased by: her parents, Iva Jean Mitchell (Roberts) and Wylie Mitchell; and her sister Sandra Wylene Mitchell Whiting. She is survived by: her sister Beverly Ann Mitchell Bowers; her nieces, Lori Whiting Swink and Robin Lorraine Whiting Jo; her close friend Judith McSwain Eckles; her goddaughter Rebecca Eckles; Skylar Gwin.
