He was predeceased by: his uncle Leon Baird; and his grandparents, Doris, Robert Higgins, Nola and Eugene Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Maggart Higgins; his sons, Macsen Thomas and Porter Bruce; his mother Shirley Seguin; his stepfather Albert; his father Thomas Higgins; his stepmother Diane; his brother Shane Higgins; his sister-in-law Kelly; his nieces, Sophia and Elena; his parents-in-law, Barbara Maggart and Bruce; his brother-in-law Christopher Maggart; his nephew Nolan; his niece Ava; and his aunts, Brenda "Aunt B" Davis, Diana Baird, Anna Newsome, Carole Rutledge and Phyllis Modica. He is also survived by numerous uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Furkids, honoring Chris's lifelong affection for cats and dogs.
