He was predeceased by: his parents, Embry Carlos West and Mildred Louise Junker West. He is survived by: his wife Sidney Claire Childs West; his daughter Elizabeth Claire West Jones (Eric Palefsky); his grandchildren, Shelby Louise Jones and Dalton Ellis Jones; his son Andrew Childs West; and his siblings, Nan Gay Barker, Janet White Penry and William (Bill) West (Ann). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, and four great-great nieces and nephews.
