She is survived by: her family Dorcas; her children, Pamela S. Lasseter (Denorris Jr.) and Phillip Dwayne Simon (Rosalyn); her grandchildren, Dana P. Lasseter and Denorris Lasseter III (Talitha); her great grandchildren, Denorris IV, Kyrie Javell and Tamaya Anna-Isis; her grandchildren-in-law, Avonti Tambe, Khloe Perteet, Gabrielle Perteet and Skylar Perteet; her sister Jeanne Bryant Blackmon; and her friends, Monica McFarlin and Lorien McFarlin-Franklin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; her special family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home (1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Radcliffe Presbyterian Church (286 Hamilton E Holmes Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the South-View Cemetery (1990 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315).
