It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Louise (Johnson) McBrayer of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Ellen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Johnson and Caroline Edens Johnson. She is survived by: her sons, James "Jay" McBrayer (Tami) of Brookhaven, Watt "Brody" McBrayer of Brookhaven and Adam McBrayer of Loganville; her grandchildren, Lina, Joseph and Jackson; and her sister Susan Johnson Settle (Michael) of Destin, FL..
