It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmie Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Emmie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emmie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home (1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Welcome Baptist Church (581 Parker Ave, Decatur, GA 30032). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (5755 Mallory Rd, College Park, GA 30349).
