Though Emory may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Anderson Deaton, Sr. and Mary Tennille Deaton; his wife Jane Foxworth Deaton; and his granddaughter Mary Catherine Gibson. He is survived by: his children, Jan Gibson, David Deaton (Lynne) and Amy Spires (Bob); his sister Lanette Pupp (Dale); and his granddaughters, Emma Deaton and Jane Claire Spires.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ingram Funeral Home (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
