Ernest Patrick Epps Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Omie Lucile Williams Epps and Ben Thomas Epps; his former wife Ann Hailey Epps; and his siblings, Evelyn Galt, Virginia Whitaker, Rosamond Utley, Ben T. Epps, Jr., Harry Epps, Charles Epps, George Epps, Doug Epps and John Edward Epps.
He is survived by: his wife Nita Williams Epps; his grandchildren, Kelly Epps Stewart (Patch), Jake Tharp (Nicole), Hailey Tharp, Hank Persons and Jack Persons; his great grandchildren, Carsten Tharp, Grace and Charlie Stewart; his niece Nita Epps; his great-niece Beth Spurgeon (Andrew); his great-nephew Richard Williams (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Campbell, Sawyer, Summer Fretz, Sloane and Henry Williams.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel (4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church (3180 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305). A committal service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oconee Hill Cemetery (297 Cemetery St, Athens, GA 30605).
