She is survived by: her husband Edward Holt, Jr.; her daughter Tamara Vonetta (Amankwa) of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Nia Renee, Nyah Nicole, Niles Edward and Nana Afia; her daughters, Denise Nicole Holt of Atlanta Georgia and Rebecca Holt-Peebles (Damon) of Atlanta; her stepdaughter Adriene Allen (Sentel) of Smithfield; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Holt of Suitland, Maryland and Carlton Holt of Wilson.
She was a strong supporter of fundraisers for Spelman and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).
