With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Delano Woodall Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemon Clayton Woodall and Ida Walraven Woodall; and his brothers, Charles Woodall and Clayton Woodall. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Campbell Woodall; his children, JoEllen Gunn (Joseph) of Gainesville, Tracy Balkcom (Bob) of Buford and Franklin D. Woodall, Jr. (Susannah) of Dahlonega; his grandchildren, Allison, Jennifer, Max, Ben, Dennis, Jake, Victoria, Zach and Will; and his sister Carolyn Pierson of McDonough. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (797 Memorial Dr, Griffin, GA 30223).
