I’ll always remember the time that I got to go to dinner with him and Carol at Atlas and he shared some of his favorite wines. When my mother had hip surgery at Piedmont hospital years ago, she got the VIP treatment because everyone thought Fred was her son. He gave her such special attention. The world was a gentler place because Fred was in it. Betty Ann”
