Gardner Chambliss Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 81, Gardner Chambliss (Atlanta, Georgia), born in Vancouver, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gardner farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gardner is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Chambliss and Emily Ione Gardner. He is survived by: his brother Jacob "Ray" Chambliss; his wife Peggy Jo Webb; and his son Scott Alfred Chambliss.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haygood Memorial United Methodist Church (1015 E Rock Springs Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30306).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Midtown High School Robotics Team (https://www.g3robotics.com), Midtown High School Aerial Robotics Team, or Haygood United Methodist Church.
