He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McCants and Grace McCants; and his siblings, Corine Riley, Fannie Mahone, Deborah Davis and Johnny Montford.
He is survived by: his children, Chantel, DeAngelo and Natia McCants; his grandchildren, Aniyah, Autumn, Khalea and Solomon; and his siblings, Donna Waymon (Willie) and Author Lee Purifory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
