He is survived by: his children, George Thomas Varner Jr. and Vivian Varner Wilber (John Wilber); his grandchildren, Casey Fuller Varner, Joseph Thomas Wilber (Molly Kathleen Wilber) and Carol Elizabeth Stainton (Samuel Maxwell Stainton); his former wife Nancy Roper Miller of Atlanta; his stepchildren, Chris Miller (Claire Chamberlain) and Craig Miller (Stephanie); his sisters, Esther Varner Lewis (Kim Lewis) and Joanne Bailey (late Robert); Logan Miller, Mia Contino, Craig, Jackson Miller and Chloe Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
