Georgia Syribeys Obituary
We announce the death of Georgia Syribeys (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Georgia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Athena Hondros Syribeys and Petros Syribeys; and her brother Dr. John Syribeys. She is survived by: her children, Athena Sotus-Nawar, Maria Christina (Mark), Eva Sotus and Chris Sotus (Laurie); her grandchildren, Athena Holbrook, Christopher Nawar (Yasmine), Alex Nawar (Andrea) and Zoe Nawar; and her sister-in-law Margaret Syribeys Hansen. She is also survived by nephews, their spouses and children.
