Gerald H. Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 18, 2025, at the age of 94, Gerald H. Davis (Atlanta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gerald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gerald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Essie Davis (Jerry) and Bruce Davis; his stepsons, Michael Penney (Claudia Penney) of Atlanta, Patrick Penney of Ferndale and James Penney of Neillville; his former wife Alice Kimbler Hankla; his stepsons, Charles Hankla (Anne-Sophie Hankla) of Atlanta and Allen Hankla of Lafayette; his friend James Williams of Atlanta; and his caregiver Yarbough Williams. He was also cherished by his fourteen grandchildren and to his four great-grandchildren.
