Jack Zbar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Zbar (Atlanta, Georgia), born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on July 1, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Zbar and Estelle Zbar; his wife Leda Zbar; his children, Clay Zbar (Shari), Beth Marks (Michael) and Stephanie Footer (Luke Warren); his grandchildren, Jeff Marks (Angel), Greg Marks, Jennifer Zbar, Jake Footer and Justin Footer; and his siblings-in-law, Susie, Bruce Golubock, Joel and Mindy Loshak. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In memory of Jack, donations may be sent to the Georgia Tech Foundation at 760 Spring Street NW, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30308 in support of the Leda L. and Jack J. Zbar Scholarship in the School of Materials Science & Engineering or in support of the Leda L. and Jack J. Zbar Scholarship in the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering.
