She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Harvey Louis and Harriet Talley Fell; her husband Harold Nelson Hill Jr.; and her son Ward Nelson Hill. She is survived by: her brother Harvey Louis; her granddaughters, Nancy and Talley; her children, Douglas Allyn Hill (Kim) of Kennesaw, GA, Nancy Pierce Mills of Chamblee, GA and Andrew Nelson Mills of Sandy Springs, GA; and her brother-in-law Robert Geeslin Hill of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arlington Chapel (173 Allen Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church (3180 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Peachtree Road UMC Friends of Music or Christmas Kindness.
