He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia Galen and John Galen; his wife Valerie Brown; his daughters, Patty and Jeani; his granddaughter Adrianna; and his stepson Bill (Jennifer).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the H. M. Patterson and Sons Oglethorpe (4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
