He is survived by: his mother Jeanne Smith Effinger; his pet Avery Theodore Smith; his wife Patrice; his sister Gianna McGregor-Harrison (Derrick); his mother-in-law Quita Barton; and his sisters-in-law, Allyson Johnson (Marvin) and Carlene Joseph (DeMarre). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
