He is survived by: his mother Elsie Mae Blackmon; his children, Marcus Benson of Charlotte, NC., Sharikka Wright (Terence) of Charlotte, NC. and Branna Calloway of Charlotte, NC.; and his siblings, James Gladden, Jr. of Forestville, Maryland. and Lena Walker of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
