As Joann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joann. Though Joann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Nixon; her children, Christy Nixon Moss (Chris Moss) and Keith Nixon; her grandchildren, Jenny Moss and Morgan Moss (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Millie Joy and Penny Lane.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Peachtree Memorial Park (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092).
