He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Banks and Ella Ruth Banks; and his siblings, Roberta, Laura, Marion Jr. and Jimmie Lee Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Turenia; and his brothers, Alvin Banks and Willis Ponder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
