She is survived by: her cousins, Maria Vlattas (Ted Jenkins) of Oak Island, Nick Vlattas (Barb) of Yorktown, Virginia, Alexis, Olga Vainas of Columbia, Kristen Wickre (David), Eleni Sarantakos, Andrew Wickre of Yorktown, Virginia and Nicholas Vlattas (Kelsey) of Geneva, Illinois.; and her godchildren, Jim Morgan (Cynthia), Nicholas Vlattas (Kelsey), Harris Morgan, Nate Morgan, Genie Pappas Becknell (Britt), Alexandria Becknell, Bennett Watson and John Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, reflecting Joyce's deep faith and lifelong commitment to her church.
