Kevin A. Rogers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin A. Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Kevin may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin A. Rogers, Jr. and Mahogany Rucker-Rogers; his mother Carmelita Rogers; his brother Derrick Rogers, Sr. (Tammy); his grandson Hezekiah; his nieces and nephews, Alexis Rogers and Derrick Rogers, Jr. (Labreeska); and his great-niece Shelby. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (2560 Tilson Rd, Decatur, GA 30032).
