She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Maudine James Palmer; her husband John Wesley Davis, Jr.; her adoptive parents, Monroe Byrd (Zeda) and Zeda Byrd; her children, Lyzeda Davis, John W. Davis, III and Lisa Sydelle Davis; and her siblings, Miriam Palmer Moore, Lorraine Palmer, Delores Ann Palmer (Bay) and Harvey Palmer (Diane).
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Davis and Raeshawn Davis; her sister Gwendolyn Palmer Carter (Tony); her grandchildren, Eros Davis, Najee Davis, Wesley Solomon, Jonathan Davis, Robin Calhoun, Javel Hardnett (Dayiah Littlejohn-Hardnett), John Davis (Anna), Lynn Davis, Quinton Lester, London Davis and Teea Davis; her great grandchildren, Jayce, Onyx, Eros Jr., Najee Jr., Kenzo, John Wesley Jr., Nola and Ayla; and her grandchildren, Peaches, Peggy and Stephanie. She is also survived by cousins, family and friends.
