She is survived by: her son Jeff Chambers (Shari) of Acworth, Georgia; her daughters-in-law, Nancy Richardson (Robert) of Palmetto and Melissa Carlson (Brian) of Auburn, Alabama; her grandchildren, Sarah Rose of New York, Kathryn Bohannon (Nathan) of Buford, Kellen Chambers (Tina) of Smyrna, Paxson Chambers (Julia) of Saint Augustine and Caraline Carlson of Auburn, Alabama; her great grandchildren, Audrey Bohannon and Margot Bohannon; her sisters, Kathleen McGuire of Blairsville and Jane Stiles of Hiwassee Dam; and her sister-in-law Helen Gibson of Brasstown.
The family requests memorials be made in memory of Madelyn Gibson Chambers to Shady Grove Baptist Church, 198 Shady Grove Road, Murphy, North Carolina 28906.
