He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Funk and Anne Funk. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Funk of Atlanta; his children, Michael Funk (Elisheva), Amy Wolkin (Brent) and Mandy Funk; his grandchildren, Ilana, Shira, Benjamin Funk, Ethan and Shai Wolkin; his brother Herbert; and his sister-in-law Leora Wollner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the North Atlanta Memorial Park (5188 Winters Chapel Rd, Atlanta, GA 30360). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
