With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mavis R. Cahoon (Atlanta, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mavis left this world on September 21, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Adam Bradburn Cahoon; and her siblings, Marion Parker, Allan Ravenscroft and Beryl Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Roger (Tina) and Daniel (Charlotte); her grandchildren, Michael, Thomas and Kathryn; and her great grandchildren, Hazel and Nora.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the H. M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel (4550 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30319). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mavis's name.
