It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Denis McCarthy (Atlanta, Georgia), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McCarthy and Edith McCarthy; and his brothers, Daniel, Jerome and John McCarthy.

He is survived by: his wife Augusta McCarthy; his brother Thomas McCarthy; and his children, Tim (Jocelyn), Neil (Tracy Rekart), Ann (Dermot Coll) and John McCarthy (Carey Jones). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
