We are sad to announce that, on May 10, 2026, at the age of 79, Michael B Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Thomas, Jr. and Sara Bette M. Pratt; his significant other Evelyn F. Thomas; his children, William H. Thomas, Michele R. T. Lewis and Lisa T. Gilbert; and his sisters, Sharon Bushman and Nancy Walker.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Main Street Church's (formerly Tucker First Baptist) music department in memory of Michael. Donations given to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in memory of Evelyn on behalf of Michael would also be welcome and appreciated.
