She was predeceased by: her parent Elizabeth Cargile; and her sisters, Deneria Jean Cargile and Dorothy Watson. She is survived by: her brother John Hester Jr.; and her nieces, Annette Campbell, Christine McCory, Beverly Duffy (Howard), Janice Watson, Delores Spear and Patricia Spear.
Viewing was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home (1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
