She is survived by: her children, Minnette Coleman (Robert Roach), Jimmie Barnett (Michael), Bernadette Lambert (Michael) and George Mason Coleman, Jr. (Melissa); her grandchildren, Dominique, Lamar, Richard, Joshua, Norman, Giselle, Mason and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Alicia, Chip, Theo and August; and her nieces, Corrie Wingfield and Alta Starr.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home (1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331). The lying in state was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church (551 Harwell Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
