With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Payne of Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Peggy has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her mother Kathryn Marshall; and her husband Thomas Payne of Newcastle, IN.. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Damschroder; and her nieces and nephews, Leslie Damschroder, Amy Cuzzupoli, Jeff, Doug Damschroder, Kevin Shaffer (Katie) and John Patterson (Megan Watson). She is also survived by her family, friends.
There will be no public services and the family suggests that those interested, donate to your local animal shelter or wildlife sanctuary in her name.
