He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonios and Xeni (America); and his siblings, Ellen, Steve, Minas and George.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his sister-in-law Athena Sarris; his children, Xeni Mercer (Mark), Anthony Sarris (Tina), Tom Sarris and George Sarris (Sophia); his grandchildren, Richard Mercer (Vera), Mariellen X. Craver (Scott), Christopher Mercer (Lauren), Michael A. Sarris, Thomas Sarris and Katherine Sarris; and his friend Mike Balsamides. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Atlanta, GA or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in St. Augustine, FL.
