Marilyn Tam wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Nancy, Rebecca and Abigail, Atlanta and this world will be sadder and dimmer without Phil in it. He was always so kind, engaging, down to earth, and sincere. Whenever our paths crossed at Egg Harbor or at the Jewish Film Festival, he brightened my day with his warmth. Don and I always held you both in high regard and we will miss him. Fondly, Marilyn Tam”
