With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rainey Larry Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2024 at the age of 33. He is survived by : his parents, Sherrie Smith and Lionel Burns; his siblings, Renishia, Darryl Finch, Sherrika Smith, Lionel Burns, Kayla Robert, Kasey Robert, Kameron Robert and Kolby Robert; his aunt Phyllis Robinson; his uncle Carlos Diaz; and his cousins, Darion Robinson, Darrell Robinson, Darlene Robinson and Juan Smith. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gentilly Baptist Church (5141 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70112). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
