He is survived by: his wife Sandra Boone-Stephens; his children, Debra Scott, Raleigh Stephens Jr. (Tiffany), Danita Minnifield (Ron), Marcia Alger (Tom), Anthony Stephens (Beverly), Corwin Mays, Darryl Stephens and Brandon Lee; Arlinda Faye Cox (Rufus) and Willie Stephens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
