He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Brown and Francis Brown. He is survived by: his wife Janice Brady Brown; his children, Catherine Harrison Brown, William Patrick Whigham of Atlanta and Stephanie Vaughn (Larry) of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Vaughn and Toney Harrison Vaughn of Birmingham, Alabama; and his sister Deborah James (Joe) of Enterprise, Alabama. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Folds of Honor.
