He is survived by: his wife Connie Grant Goodsell; his sons, Rob Goodsell (Heather) and Alex Goodsell (Amy); his stepdaughter Constance Browning; his brother Richard B. Goodsell, Sr. (Anne); and his grandchildren, Jordan Williamson, Ross Williamson, Ann-DuPree Goodsell, Amelia Goodsell, Bailey Goodsell, Chloe Goodsell, Annie McGlothin (Bradley), Hallie Daspit (Sam) and Meg Goodsell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Evangel Presbyterian Church in Alabaster, AL, or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta, GA.
