We bid farewell to Robert Wayne Nix of Atlanta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2024 at the age of 84. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Robert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Robert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Courtney Nix and Helen Agnita Bell Nix; and his siblings, Stephen Nix and Marsha Nix Rush. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Pomeroy (Paul Young), Lesley Littlejohn, Helen Williams and Joyel Duff; and his sister Joan Nix Hackler. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
